The Converse Love The Progress pack shines a spotlight on the stories of women of all walks of life.

The “Love The Progress” sneaker pack comprises 17 designs featuring bold graphic statements that are a call to women to lead their lives on their own terms.

Because of the sheer number of people wearing them these days, sneakers have become an excellent medium for storytelling. And Converse sneakers, some of the most prolifically worn kicks, make the perfect medium for the message.

Just what is the message? “Keep Loving, Keep Fighting” (also the “Love The Progress” collection tagline), a belief that through loving one another and fighting for equality, women can overcome fear and oppression, making things better for the next generation of girls.

The Converse Love The Progress sneaker pack is fronted by four women whom Converse dubs “Redefiners”. There’s a Polish tech expert, an Argentine musician, an Australian ballerina and a Singaporean self-defense instructor, each was asked to redefine what ‘GIRL’ is.
