G-SHOCK has once again teamed up with streetwear icon UNDEFEATED to collaborate on a new drop. Ahead of the G-SHOCK x UNDEFEATED DWE-5600UD-1 Singapore release on May 16, here’s what you need to know.

This is the second link-up between the two brands, bringing together G-SHOCK’s iconic utilitarian aesthetic and UNDEFEATED’s reputation for cutting-edge streetwear and sought-after collaborations.

The watch seamlessly brings together G-SHOCK’s functionality and Los Angeles street style. Its design language nods to the square shape of the DWE5600, with special updates. The vibrant green LCD screen on the watch face is paired with a sleek black base for a modern look and feel.

The watch comes complete with two additional, interchangeable bands, both decorated in a camouflage pattern exclusive to UNDEFEATED. Choose from a storm camo or a tiger stripe camo for a customizable look. 

The iconic five-strike logo synonymous with UNDEFEATED sits on the back of the case within the LED backlight – revealed when the backlight activates – and again features on the short band strap. For a statement finish, the brand’s moniker emblazons the long strap. 

In terms of G-SHOCK tech, this watch has all the functionality that we know and love from the brand. That includes the signature shock resistance, a carbon core guard structure, 200m water resistance and more, bringing G-SHOCK’s utilitarian design approach to the fore.

The drop builds on the success of their previous collaboration in 2023, which was launched to mark G-SHOCK’s 40th anniversary. Their joint effort created the DW6900UDCR23-5, a timepiece that built on the 30th anniversary timepiece created by the duo. It brought back the fabric nato strap and offered an interchangeable resin strap for the old school G-SHOCK feel. 

The latest outing builds on the interchangeable straps with the addition of the camo offering – a throughline of their shared appreciation for functionality and thoughtful design, effortlessly uniting two distinct aesthetics.

The G-SHOCK x UNDEFEATED DWE-5600UD-1 drops in Singapore on May 16 and will retail for S$329. It will be available at all G-SHOCK stores and CASIO’s online store in Singapore at gshock.casio.com/sg/.
