The Internet, Loyle Carner and Anderson Paak electrified stages at The Meadow, Gardens By The Bay, Singapore.

1) Calm before the storm

Some festival-goers came early to relax on the lawn and check out the booths, including the unique Uber Eats Food Village, which offered for the first time in Asia, a food delivery option at a music festival. Attendees could order snacks – tacos, satay, ice-cream – with the help of dedicated pick-up points located across festival grounds, which meant less queuing and more enjoying.

2) ASICS Tiger provides shelter 

This year, ASICS Tiger provided shelter to festival-goers who needed respite from the unforgiving heat. Housed within the booth: seats, magazines and charging stations. In addition, participants could stand a chance to win ASICS Tiger shoes if they took pictures against the photo wall within the booth. Spotted at the booth were dance crew Scrachmarcs and artiste Tabitha Nauser.

3) Acts-citement

Excitement all around, and rightfully so, what with a mix of regional and international acts lined up at the eighth edition of the music festival.

Listen with your phone? Smartphone cameras are a fixture at music events to ensure the moments last a lifetime.

5) Shred it

Loyle Carner got in the mood during his electrifying set. The UK-based rapper displayed his air-guitar skills to the raucous crowd.

6) Crowd-pumping

At 16 years old, Billie Eilish didn’t let her age and the fact that she’s the youngest performer in the line-up get in the way as she banged out her hit singles on stage.

Music turns a frown upside down.

The crowd got to see The Internet take the stage at Laneway once again.

Feel good vibes surrounded the festival grounds as Canada’s Marc DeMarco crooned to the calming sounds of his guitar.

Despite a technical glitch at the start of his performance, Anderson Paak restarted his set with much vigor that kept the adrenaline going.

The glamor of Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands skyline in the backdrop was momentarily eclipsed on Saturday by the brilliant performances at Laneway.
