ASTELL&ASPR, a lifestyle digital brand under SM Entertainment, will be collaborating with some of the biggest names in K-pop to produce a range of sneakers with YSNEAKERS. The collection comprises fourteen different kicks with each K-pop star designing two sneakers – one low and high top silhouettes. To date, previews have only been provided for shoes designed by CHEN of EXO-CBX and TAEYEON from Girls’ Generation (images below).

Just like the PUMA x BTS collab released in July 2017, each purchase of the YSNEAKERS x ASTELL&ASPR collaboration will come with a number of freebies including an exclusive photocard of the artist who designed the shoes along with a wooden shoe tree and a warranty card featuring the musician’s signature.
According to Channel News Asia, the sneakers will be available on August 16. In addition, the limited edition sneaker collection is available for pre-order on Wednesday, July 25. The collaborative sneakers will cost anywhere from S$475 to S$571.
Notable Kpop sneaker collaboration
K-pop idols are no stranger to the world of sneaker design. Well known groups such as BTS and EXO have collaborated with sportswear brands such as Puma and Skechers.
