1) TALKLAH, a panel discussion about sneaker culture
The TALKLAH panel discussion comprised of speakers Mark Ong (of SBTG), Nelson Tan (of sneaker store Sole What), Bunga (DJ and founding member of Twilight Actiongirl), Calen Leong (an online reseller who goes by @streetlavida) and Syafiq (owner of a thrift/consigment store known as @putonairsmy).
2) House of Vans sneaker customization
Vans came in strong at SneakerLah Malaysia 2017. The SBTG crew was out in full force to put their signature punk/militia touch on Vans sneakers for the most part of both days of the convention. On the second day, SBTG creative director and founder, Mark Ong, was part of the TALKLAH panel (see above).
3) Of course: Supreme x Louis Vuitton sneakers
The heat was out in full force at SneakerLah 2017.
4) Team Early: Nike x Off-White Air Jordan 1
The Nike x Off-White AJ1s were being resold at the convention, way ahead of any official launch of “The Ten” in Malaysia or Southeast Asia, for that matter.
5) A whole lot of Vans
Remember we mentioned above that Vans had a huge presence at the 2017 SneakerLah Malaysia?
6) RM 28,000 Supreme x Louis Vuitton hoodie
Hands down the most expensive item on sale at the convention – this Supreme x Louis Vuitton hoodie priced at RM 27, 777.77 (approx. S$8,945) really got people talking.
7) Spotted: Nike SB PRod 2 x Free (Free Rod)

8) Arabyrd on decks on Day 2

9) Sneaker cleaning services galore
Sneaker cleaning services were a big thing at the 2017 SneakerLah Malaysia. Sneakers Spa was one such provider that was on hand to remove tough stains. If you need DIY tips on keeping your sneakers clean, head here.

11) Indoor skate ramp
The indoor skate ramp presented by Vans was a hit. Skaters were hitting the ramp non-stop all through both days of the con.
12) Spotted: The UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97 (2017)
Reselling for RM 1,900 (approx. S$611) and spotted on-feet on several sneakerheads as well.
13) Clawing your way to free kicks

14) Spotted: The Nike Air More Uptempo
These basketball shoes from ’96 have made a comeback in a big way.
