The Kim Jones x Air Max 95 references Jones’ British heritage. The sneaker which drops on March 19 is his take on the Air Max 95—known as the “110” in the UK (find out why), where it is beloved.

Honoring its technology: Playing with colors and textures, Jones accentuates the key technologies that make up the iconic runner. This includes neon orange accents on the lace eyelets and air bubbles, proprietary Nextkin material on the midfoot to expose the hidden structures and dotted lines that amplify the layered lateral panels.

Reflective accents span from the forefoot to the heel, drawing our eyes to the neon-colored air bubbles embedded into the midsole.

Exclusive to the UK: British sneakerheads have access to the exclusive “High Voltage” colorway and its accompanying apparel range designed by Jones. The rest of the world gets the “Total Orange” Air Max 95 and the remaining matching apparel.

Final note: It’s hard for Jones to follow up the massively hyped Dior x Air Jordan 1 release in 2020. Though not in the same league, his Air Max 95 is a noteworthy sneaker that celebrates the sneaker culture he grew up with. Like the Air Diors, his Air Max 95 stays true to the retro silhouette, sporting small accent changes to help the sneaker stand out.
